Frequently Asked Questions

Why do some cards show “—” instead of a price?

We haven’t recorded any sold listings for that card yet. Prices appear once we pick up a completed sale from eBay UK. Newer or less popular cards may take a little longer to get data.

What does the percentage (7d) mean?

It shows how the average sale price over the last 7 days compares to the 7 days before that. For example, +12% (7d) means the card’s average price has increased 12% compared to the previous week. Changes under 3% are hidden to reduce noise.

How are prices calculated?

All prices are averages based on actual completed sales from eBay UK — not asking prices or US data. We track what cards really sold for in GBP, giving you an accurate picture of UK market values.

Why are graded card prices shown separately?

Graded cards (PSA, CGC, BGS, etc.) typically sell for significantly more than raw cards. If we mixed them together, the graded sales would inflate the average price and give an inaccurate picture of what a raw card is worth.

How often is data updated?

We collect sold listing data from eBay UK three times a day. Prices and sales data are updated after each collection run.

Why is a card’s price different from what I see on eBay?

We only track completed sales — what cards actually sold for. eBay listings you see may be active auctions or fixed-price listings that haven’t sold yet. Asking prices are often higher than what buyers actually pay.

Do you track postage costs?

No, the prices shown are the item sale price only and do not include postage or shipping costs.

Why can’t I find a specific card?

Our system matches eBay listing titles to cards in our database using card numbers, set names, and title information. Some listings use unusual formatting or abbreviations that our matching can’t pick up yet. We’re continuously improving this.
